Join us for our first Community Cybersecurity Event of the year where Braden McCann and Roger Eggleston of Pondurance lead a discussion around Risk Based Cybersecurity. Braden and Roger act as guides on our journey to learning how we maximize resources while ensuring we minimize exposure to threats across our environments. Check-in/Networking, including Pappo’s Pizza and fruit/vegetable spreads, begins at 4:30pm with the presentation following at 5:30pm.

Speakers
Braden McCann is the Director of Sales, West Market for Pondurance. Braden’s primary focus is on leading a national team of Account Executives to grow revenue and acquire new logos in key commercial markets. Braden also works with a small portfolio of strategic enterprise healthcare accounts. Born and raised in Springfield, MO, Braden received his bachelor’s degree from Missouri State University and his MBA from Drury University with an emphasis in strategy.

Braden has been with Pondurance for nearly 5 years and has worked in information technology and security for over ten years, starting in support roles while completing his undergraduate work at Missouri State. His most recent role before Pondurance was as a project manager for the security consulting division of the large FinTech firm Jack Henry & Associates. Braden also ran a small technology consulting firm for two years that focused on remote pharmacy technology integration for small long-term care and skilled nursing facilities.

Braden’s other professional interests include privacy and digital rights, education technology, and IoT. When not at work Braden enjoys spending time with his wife, Niki, and two children, Eva and Patrick. Braden’s favorite ways to clear his head are to play golf, read, or go on long walks with his German Shepherd mix, Oskar.

Roger Eggleston is a Solutions Engineer with Pondurance, specializing in cybersecurity technologies and solutions that help organizations protect against an ever-evolving threat landscape. Prior to Pondurance he spent 11 years with RSA professional services, where he managed the implementation and overall delivery of RSA’s flagship detection & response, and SIEM platform solutions.

Roger earned his computer science degree from Cumberland College. He is a long-standing member of ISACA and the Project Management Institute, maintaining active PMP and CISM certifications.

Roger currently resides in Louisville, KY with his wife Melissa and son Levi. When he’s not working, he’s coaching his son’s travel baseball and football teams. He loves sports, especially football, having played the game all the way through college. He’s also a HUGE Cincinnati Bengals fan!
